Piano Lessons:

 

1 HOUR = £30

 

I am happy to do 1 hour lessons on a random basis as some learners require a more ad hoc approach to discover

their own distinctive voice. This is more like a consultancy lesson where guidance can be given. Often this resolves around technical or psychological blocks that take time to tease out so the process just needs a kick-start or a nudge.

 

10 HOURS = £250 

 

When booking the 10 lessons there is a discount of £50. Regular weekly lessons are advisable but can also be taken at fortnightly intervals. Everybody has their own unique starting point and this will be considered in a free consultation lesson initially.

 

Improvisation Classes

 

1 HOUR = £20

 

These are group classes where musical concepts are explored through improvisation and ensemble work with fellow students. This is an innovative approach to Music Theory through the practical reality of on-the-spot composition. Piano technique is explored with a view to attaining a relaxed fluidity so that scales and harmonic progressions can be spontaneously explored through a constant rhythmic momentum.
