One of the major challenges with actors headshots is being able to get those raw images that have no mask, little ego and hardly any glamour. Katie hadn't had headshots done for years so understandably was a little nervous. She certainly didn't betray that in her bubbly personality and enthusiasm throughout the shoot. I was startled to discover this beguiling egoless dispostion in the inital photos. There is an almost austere Elizabethan beauty to the first shots as opposed to the bubbly flirtatiousness that emerged later in the final set of photos. This constantly changing sense of representation that we all play with - consciously and unconsciously - is a constant source of surprise and wonder!
