Now I know what Guerilla Projection is! Basically a slide of an image is projected onto an iconic building or landmark without official permission. It's a pretty cool form of advertising using these images in any marketing campaign. These buildings tend to give weight to the message because of the associations we hold for them. Google Headquarters, Parliament, BBC Headquarters.... places that resonate with global importance due to the impact that they have on global media or local and international events. Due to the sensitivity and security concerns around these sights it was important to grab the shots before being ushered off by security! So Roger Waters new album that was due out used this form of marketing to grab some attention.
