Bluman Associates ITV Studios Setup

This is the second photographic job I've done for Bluman Associates and I was fascinated being backstage at the ITV Studios on South Bank. An international band was recording a gig that will be beamed out in November and I was hired to document the stage setup. It's an endlessly fascinating exploration when in a challenging enviroment and what do you photograph in a seemingly barren and cavernous TV studio? Chains...beams of light....handsome riggers....shapes and patterns of light!! So undeterred I set up the timelapse cameras, took stills and focused on producing video clips of the assembling. So like a kid with his toys I spent a wonderfully long day finding beauty in the seemingly mundane.
