Headshot Session with dancer/performer Carrie-Louse Knight

Carrie-Louise is just a joy to work with. She has this positive, zestful spirit with oodles of fun and charm and never tires. I love it when someone can give me useful tips on how to illicit certain moods or poses. Carrie is certainly a seasoned headshot subject and she knows how to make subtle changes to her body and face to get that look of spontaneity. We definitely had fun trying out different lenses and lighting configurations and at times Carrie seemed more like an assistant as she was able to anticapte my photographic needs. This of course comes from years of experience and having worked with many photographers she has learnt to intuite the photographers mind. This is such a helpful skill and every actor should know something at least about how to help the photographer to acheive great results. When the session becomes a collaboration of creativity so much more can be acheived.
