Actress Annishia Lunette was keen to do a shoot but wasn't entirely sure what to explore. After chatting and sharing a few ideas we decided on black and white photography reminiscent of Hollywood movies from the 30's and 40's. Not that I know the specifics of style as such but having watched a few movie clips I came up with a general idea. We based everything on instinct and with the help of a net curtain - amazing what can be achieved - came up with some lovely sensual shots. It's a shame that we feel bound by the conventional headshot session. I find most actors want to explore beyond the bounds of the rigid stereotypes and why not. We always have fun on a shoot and Annishia was thrilled with the results. Her agent loved the photos so that was a good thing too!!
