Studio Session with Marek Hegli

Marek was such a pleasure to work with. He can do his own make-up, his own hair and I'm sure given a camera he'd be able to take some pretty awesome photos too. I kept hold of my camera and explored quite a number of different lighting configurations. The setting sun shines through the studio windows so even though winter we were able to do a number of window shots. The light was soft and added poetic nuances, a nice counterpoint to the rugged masculinity Marek can put across. Marek's lovely features and tight muscled body are what make photography a pleasure especially when exploring shadow and light. I was really happy with the results and so was Marek. We'll be doing another shoot in the new year so more of this fabulously handsome Slovakian to come.
